Rafal Iskanderian

Dr. Rafal Badri Iskanderian, MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Digestive Disease Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Iskanderian was a Specialist General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist at King Hussein Cancer Center, Amman, Jordan. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and The European Society of Surgical Oncology.

Dr. Iskanderian received his medical degree from University of Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his residency at Jordan University Hospital and earned the Arab and Jordanian Boards in General Surgery. He then completed a Surgical Oncology Fellowship from King Hussein Cancer Center in, Amman, Jordan. He also earned the European Board in Surgical Oncology.

Dr. Iskanderian resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and daughter. He enjoys sports, traveling and reading
